Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It exists because RefaceX is AI likeness-transformation technology, and technology like this attracts people looking for loopholes. Read it as a genuine list of hard lines, not boilerplate — violating any of them can mean immediate account termination, forfeiture of your credit balance, and, where the law requires it, a report to authorities.

Zero-tolerance: content involving minors

RefaceX has absolutely no tolerance for any content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or depicts a minor (anyone under 18) inappropriately — whether the minor is real, an AI-generated likeness intended to represent a real minor, or a stylized/fictional depiction of a minor in a sexualized context. This includes:

Uploading any reference image of a real minor for the purpose of altering, sexualizing, or misrepresenting them.
Using the Service to make yourself or anyone else appear to be a minor in a sexual or exploitative context.
Any attempt to use prompts, reference images, or repeated adjustments to work around safety filters intended to block this kind of content.

Violations are reported to the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and/or law enforcement in the relevant jurisdiction, in addition to immediate and permanent account termination without refund.

Impersonation and non-consensual likeness use

Do not upload a reference image of a real, identifiable person other than yourself unless you have their explicit permission to use it this way, or unless the image is not of a real private individual (e.g. a licensed character, stock asset, or public-domain image).
Do not use RefaceX to impersonate a specific real person (public figure or private individual) in a way intended to deceive viewers about who is actually speaking or appearing.
Do not create sexual or intimate content depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent.
Do not use another streamer's or creator's likeness or established persona to confuse or mislead their audience.

Fraud and scams

RefaceX must not be used, directly or indirectly, to run or support:

Romance scams, investment/crypto scams, fake giveaways, or "get rich quick" schemes.
Impersonation of a business, bank, government agency, or official for the purpose of soliciting money, payment details, passwords, or personal information.
Any stream or content designed to trick viewers into an action they would not take if they knew a synthetic character/likeness was involved.

If you are streaming in a persona/character, standard entertainment disclosure (e.g. stating you're using an AI filter, consistent with platform norms) is expected — the issue is deception intended to cause harm, not entertainment itself.

Harassment, threats, and hate

Do not use RefaceX to harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or incite violence against any person or group.
Do not use it to produce content that promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.

Disinformation

Do not use RefaceX to create political disinformation, fabricated "news" broadcasts, or election-related content designed to make viewers believe a real person said or did something they did not.

Intellectual property

Do not use reference images or prompts to recreate copyrighted characters, brands, or likenesses you have no rights to use commercially, in a way that infringes the rights holder — for example, running a monetized stream impersonating a licensed brand mascot without permission.

Attempting to circumvent safety systems

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or intentionally work around content-safety filters, moderation systems, or usage limits — including through repeated rephrased prompts designed to "jailbreak" a blocked result.

Reporting misuse

If you encounter content or an account that appears to violate this policy, please report it through Contact Support. Reports involving child safety are prioritized immediately.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts, withhold credit balances, and/or report unlawful activity to authorities at our discretion, without prior notice, when we reasonably believe this policy has been violated. Enforcement decisions are not subject to refund of any purchased credits.
